Premier Energy – Solar PV Terms & Conditions

Solar PV Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, proposals, and installations carried out by Premier Energy (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accepting a quotation, signing a proposal, or paying a deposit, the Customer (“you”, “your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions form part of all contracts entered into with Premier Energy and are incorporated by reference into all quotations and proposals.

1

Proposal Validity

How long your quotation remains valid and when pricing may change.

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

Pricing may be subject to change where equipment availability, supplier pricing, site conditions, or scope of works change following survey or inspection.

2

Scope of Works

What is included and what requires written agreement.

The quotation includes only the equipment, materials, and services expressly listed.

Final system design, layout, and component selection may be adjusted following technical assessment to ensure compliance with manufacturer, regulatory, or grid requirements.

Any works not expressly included in the quotation are excluded unless agreed in writing.

3

Payments

Deposit and balance, plus finance scenarios and title retention.

A. Standard Payment Terms

  • 30% deposit payable on acceptance
  • 70% balance payable on completion of installation
All equipment supplied remains the property of Premier Energy until payment is received in full.

B. Credit Union / Third-Party Finance

  • Loan approval must be confirmed prior to installation
  • Premier Energy will provide required documentation to the nominated Credit Union
  • Payment is made directly from the Credit Union to Premier Energy

The Customer remains responsible for meeting loan conditions and ensuring funds are released on time. If finance is delayed, declined, or withdrawn, the Customer remains liable for the full system cost.

Premier Energy may withhold commissioning documentation or certification until full payment is received.
4

Installation

Scheduling, site readiness, and safety standards.

Installation dates are indicative and may be affected by weather, supply-chain issues, site readiness, or third-party requirements (including ESB Networks).

The Customer must provide:

  • Safe and unrestricted access
  • Clear working areas
  • A suitable working environment

All electrical works are carried out in accordance with Safe Electric requirements and I.S.10101 standards.

Existing Electrical Installation: Quotes assume the property’s existing electrical installation is compliant and suitable. If issues are identified, upgrades may be advised and quoted separately if requested.
Roof Condition: Quotes assume the roof structure and covering are suitable. Remedial works are excluded unless expressly stated.
5

ESB Networks / Grid Connection

NC6/NC7 submissions and factors outside our control.

All systems require NC6 or NC7 submission where applicable. Premier Energy will prepare and submit the required documentation.

Delays, refusals, export limitations, or network upgrade requirements imposed by ESB Networks are outside the control of Premier Energy and do not constitute grounds for cancellation or delay in payment.

6

System Performance

Estimates only—actual results may vary.

All generation, savings, and payback figures are estimates only.

Actual performance may vary due to shading, orientation, weather conditions, grid limitations, usage patterns, and system configuration.

No performance or financial guarantees are provided.
7

SEAI Solar PV Grant

Eligibility, approval timing, responsibilities, and grant payment.

Eligibility: The Customer is responsible for ensuring eligibility. Premier Energy is not responsible for grant refusal due to customer circumstances.

Application: SEAI approval must be received before installation. SEAI will not approve grants for systems installed prior to approval.

Premier Energy: We will ensure the system meets SEAI technical requirements and provide required documentation.

Customer: The Customer must submit accurate information, meet SEAI deadlines, and comply with SEAI terms and conditions.

Grant Payment: SEAI pays the grant directly to the Customer unless otherwise agreed. Full payment to Premier Energy is required regardless of grant outcome or delay.

8

Credit Union & Third-Party Finance Support

Authorisation to share details and limits of responsibility.

Where requested, Premier Energy may assist with introducing the Customer to a finance provider to facilitate a solar PV loan application.

By accepting a quotation or signing a proposal that includes finance assistance, the Customer authorises Premier Energy to share relevant personal and project information (including name, contact details, address, and system quotation details) with the nominated finance provider solely for this purpose.

Premier Energy does not act as a lender, credit broker, or financial adviser and accepts no responsibility for loan approval, refusal, timing, or terms.

Once details are submitted, all further communications and obligations are strictly between the Customer and the finance provider.

9

Cancellation

Cooling-off period and deductions.

The Customer may cancel within 14 days of acceptance unless installation has commenced at the Customer’s request.

Costs for pre-ordered equipment, design work, or works already completed may be deducted.

Premier Energy reserves the right to cancel works due to safety concerns, structural issues, or inability to proceed.

10

Ownership & Non-Payment

Retention of title until paid in full.

All equipment remains the property of Premier Energy until paid in full.

In cases of non-payment, Premier Energy may take reasonable steps to protect its property rights in accordance with Irish law.
